About Jo

I have been practising yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2004. I started practising yoga in my journey for deeper meaning to life and to increase my inner peace and contentment. I have found that as well as this, practising yoga reduces stress levels and is the best gift I can give to my body, improving my health at every level.

I first practiced yoga at home over 18 years ago and went to my first yoga class in 2000 I instantly knew this was the right path for me as I began to feel the many benefits for body, mind and spirit! Since then I have been taught by some amazing yoga and meditation teachers. With the encouragement of my first teacher and fellow yoga students I decided to go on to train as a yoga and meditation teacher to share my great love for yoga practice! I look forward to seeing you at class!

2000-2002 - IIHHT (International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies) Diploma

2002-2004 - BSY (British school of yoga) Hatha yoga teaching Diploma

2008-2009 - First degree Reiki healing and Second Degree Reiki healing

2011-2014 - BWY (British wheel of yoga) Teacher Diploma

Three years of study and teacher training with the British wheel of yoga, on going training and study with the BWY.

Public first aid certificate and fully insured with the BWY.
